This week, the weather jumped up to the 90’s, giving us a little taste of that California summertime. I’m in heaven – give my hot, sunny weather and I’m instantly a happy camper. And I’m excited to pull out some of my favorite summer clothes, and put those sweaters firmly in the back of closet for a good number of months!
We took a little outing over the weekend to celebrate the warm weather and to try to get out of the house. We drove over to a nearby field. Our original plan was to have a little picnic, but it was sooo hot outside, we decided to just bring some ice cream bars and spend a shorter time there. Our picnic idea will have to wait til this stretch of 90 degree weather is over!
I’m a big fan of the overall trend, so I through on my newish skirtall that has so far only been worn with turtleneck sweaters and tights layered underneath. Turns out I like it even better as a sun dress layered with a white tank!
