Comment DISPLAY for this growth mindset bulletin board kit! If your students need a little extra motivation this time of year, then it’s the perfect time to talk about Growth Mindset!

This visual is SO helpful for improving student motivation and teaching students about how to develop a growth mindset🙌🏼💖

Here’s how I like to use it:
1. Talk about how our thoughts are often in “fixed mindset” and they make us feel stuck or inadequate.
2. Introduce “growth mindset” and talk about how we can notice our thoughts and flip them into a growth perspective.
3. Show statements from the bulletin board and have students sort them into fixed or growth
4. Leave the bulletin board up for students to see - refer to it during class and model your own thinking and how you can flip thoughts from fixed to growth throughout the school day!

Comment PROMISE for this FREEBIE template! This is the perfect time to do a classroom promise with your class (even if you already did one in the fall!) After a long break, students need reminders of the expectations in the classroom.

Here’s how I like to do it:
✨Ask students to brainstorm what the most important classroom rules or values should be
✨Reveal the classroom promise and read through the values, relating them to what the students had thought of
✨Each student adds a handprint or signature to the promise to show they will do their best to follow those values
✨Display it in the room and come back to it whenever you need to!

This template is also fully EDITABLE so you can type in the values that make the most sense for your classroom💖
